Basic Skills include strikes, kicks, jumps, stances. Every class has body conditioning for strength, flexibility, stamina, and agility.
Forms improve memory and coordination. Starting with Five Motions and Shaolin Long Fist, students advance to weapons, Long Fist, Southern Fist, animal forms, and more.
Sanda involves kicks, strikes, throws and locks. Exercises focus on coordination between partners to improve reflexes.
Class environment and teaching methods are designed to downplay aggression, foster cooperation, and build team skills. Instructors integrate the culture and values of Kung Fu in every lesson. They develop caring relationships with the students to nurture respect, discipline, and self confidence, which reach into all aspects of their life.
